Arts & Music
All areas of the school offer a stimulating range of artistic and musical lessons, which can be individually expanded through components of the extracurricular programme. Pupils can express their creativity in the modern art rooms of the primary and secondary school. Older pupils organise their own art exhibitions as well as musical evenings.
"We worked on typography with the 7th graders. Each child made a letter out of papier-mâché and painted it. This resulted in a temporary installation for the 'Open Day'. The children were proud to see their work on display."

Arts Competitions
We regularly participate successfully in local and national art competitions, ranging from the Ham Fair in the neighbourhood of the school to the Young Art Competition of the Royal Academy of Arts.
Music Competitions
We support particularly talented pupils by organising the renowned "Jugend musiziert" competition and accompanying participants who have been passed on to the subsequent rounds.
Here you can see our participants in the 2nd round of the Jugend musiziert competition 2024, which was organised by the Willy Brandt School in Warsaw.

Exhibitions
Student artworks are exhibited in all school buildings during the school year. SEK II students organise their own exhibitions, invitations to which are distributed to friends and family.
Performances
The primary and secondary school choirs perform several times a year at external events. They also regularly enrich school life with performances at festivals and events.
Individual private music tuition
Accredited private music teachers provide lessons on the school premises. The lessons are organised directly by the families. The music teachers present themselves at a high-class concert at the beginning of the school year. This is well worth attending, even if you are not looking for private music lessons for your child.
